Faith*Joy's Policies
Recognizing unanticipated events and life circumstances happen, it is always Faith*Joy's intention to respectfully work with each client and accommodate for these unique situations.
However, respect should flow both ways. To be effective and fair to all clients and the practitioner, the following policies have been established and will be enforced as warranted.

POLICIES TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN BOUNDARIES & RESPECTFUL RELATIONSHIPS​
Please review prior to scheduling an appointment.

Established Clients:
Due to the availability of scheduling, it is recommended should you have a preferred day/time of week that is needed to meet your scheduling needs, that you book forward, up to three (3) months in advance, to reserve this time.
New Clients:
Please plan to complete updated health information prior to your appointment.
Faith*Joy will need the time to do a thorough intake at your first session.
Early is always best for all sessions!
Late Arrivals:
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened.
Regardless of the length of the session, you will be responsible to pay for the session length you scheduled.
Please plan accordingly and be on time.
Cancellations:
As a courtesy to my clients, I maintain a system to send reminder emails/text messages for scheduled appointments. These confirmations and reminders are sent at time of scheduling, one week prior to the scheduled date, and again 48hours prior to scheduled appointments.
If for some reason you are not feeling well or anticipate a potential missed appointment, you will be expected to contact Faith*Joy ASAP.
In an effort to be effective and fair to all clients, and respectful of the practitioner's time, a 48-hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment.
This advanced notice allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule services that may be on a waitlist, as well as being considerate to the practitioner's valuable time.
Appointments canceled with less than 48 hrs. and No Shows will require full payment (100%) for the scheduled time. This amount must be paid in full prior to the next scheduled appointment.
This fee may be charged to the credit card on file, or if you have an assigned gift certificate on file, it may be deducted from this balance.​
Repeat cancellations (2 or more) will result in prepayment when the next appointment is booked. If that appointment is then cancelled, this payment will be non-refundable.
Inclement weather, emergencies, and COVID-19 symptoms will be exempted.
No Call No Shows will be charged full price (100%) of the scheduled session.
Snowstorms/Inclement Weather:
In the event of a predicted snowstorm or inclement weather, Faith*Joy will be in touch with all clients, together we will coordinate a plan to reschedule, as need is determined.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
All bodywork services provided by Faith*Joy are strictly non-sexual.
Any illicit or sexually suggested remarks or advances will result in immediate termination of a session, and the client will be liable for the (100%) full payment of the scheduled session.
